An experiment was conducted to assess the effect of plant bio-regulators (NAA, GA3,CCC and BA) and micronutrients (boric acid and zinc sulphate) on berry size, volume, weight and yield in strawberry cv. Chandler. Twelve months old runners were planted in Horticulture garden of Janta College, Bakewar, Etawah (U.P.) during the years 2000 and 2001. Aqueous solutions of NAA (5, 10 and 15 ppm), GA3 (25, 50 and 100 ppm), CCC (500, 1000 and 1500 ppm), BA (25, 50 and 100 ppm), boric acid (0.1 and 0.2%) and zinc sulphate (0.2 and 0.4%) were sprayed on plants before flower bud initiation i.e. 65 days after transplanting during both years. Spray of GA3 at 100 ppm produced berries of maximum length, volume and weight, whereas maximum berry width was recorded with CCC 1000 ppm treatment. The yield per hectare was significantly higher from the plots treated with GA3 at 100 ppm and CCC at 1000 ppm in both years.
