Abstract

An attempt was made to calculate the economics of various fertilizer combinations and to observe their effect on yield of sweet pepper hybrid PRC-2. Twelve treatments of different nitrogen and phosphorus combinations were evaluated with 3 replications in randomized block design. The highest fruit yield (262.32 q/ha), maximum net returns (Rs. 140981/ha) and benefit cost ratio (3.31:1) were obtained by the treatment N120 P60 K80. Among all the treatments, nitrogen @ 120 kg/ha, phosphorus @ 60 kg/ha and potash@ 80 kg/ha was proved to be the most promising.
