The mapping of mango malformation occurrence was undertaken by generating weather surfaces using spatial interpolation technique (Kriging) for four weather variables viz., maximum and minimum temperatures, relative humidity and wind speed. The mapping was done using the threshold values conducive for Fusarium mangiferae growth and proliferation. The results revealed that the spatial zonations with areas with mango malformation occurrence are higher for individual weather parameter. However, when both temperature and relative humidity were used in combination, the area was considerably reduced. The possible areas of mango malformation occurrence were in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana followed by Gujarat, Punjab and Jharkhand. It also depicted the probability of malformation free areas in southern states.
