An experiment was laid in randomized block design with nine treatments and three replications. The strawberry runners were treated with four bio-fertilizers, viz., vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizae @ 8 kg and 12 kg per hectare, Azotobactor @ 5 kg and 7 kg per hectare, Phosphobactor at 5 kg and 7 kg per hectare, Azospirillum @5 kg and 7 kg per hectare, and control along with recommended dose of fertilizers. Observations on vegetative growth were made at an interval of 20 days up to 120 days after transplanting on the vegetative growth and yield of strawberry. Significant effects of all the treatments were observed for vegetative and yield parameters. Among the treatments vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizae (VAM) @ 12 kg per hectare showed a significant increase in plant height 22.17 cm (34.37%), number of leaves 19.47 cm (39.03%), petiole length 9.88 cm (19.73), yield 30.14 tjha which was 41.63 per cent higher over the control.
