Sapota is an important tropical fruit. The cultivation of Sapota is gaining popularity in Coorg region of Karnataka. The foot disease of Sapota is noticed in this area since long It causes economic loss to the growers. The incidence of the disorder is different in different varieties. Thus an attempt was made to find out the varietal susceptibility of the disease under Coorg conditions. It was found that none of the varieties is resistance to the disorder. The cv Kriti Bharathi and DHS-2 were found least affected by this disorder while DHS-l and cricket ball were found most susceptible with 8–9 percent infection. There was no difference the symptoms in different varieties.
