Peach fruit was stored in bags of different perforations under room temperature (24 ± 2°C) as well as refrigerated temperature (3–6°C). The physiological loss in weight increased with the increase in storage but the loss was more under room temperature conditions. The fruits stored in un perforated bags showed minimum weight loss as compared to those stored in perforated bags under both the storage conditions. The radial diameter, axial diameter as well as volume also decreased with the increase in storage period and fruits stored in un perforated bags showed lower decline than those stored in perforated bags under both room temperature as well as refrigerated conditions.
