Effect of GA3 in combination with urea phosphate and BA on yield and physical quality parameters of grape cv. thompson Seedless

Abstract

Effect of GA3 in combination with Urea Phosphate and BA on yield and quality parameters of grape cv. thompson Seedless was evaluated. ten treatments of GA3 in combination with Urea Phosphate and BA and control (water spray) were applied at two stages that were pre bloom and berry set. All the bioregulator and chemical treatments proved effective in improving yield and fruit physical characteristics as compared to control. Among all the treatments, the combined application of both GA3 and BA at different concentrations (30 ppm, 40 ppm GA3 and 10 ppm BA) at two stages (pre-bloom and berry set) effectively improved fruit physical parameters such as berry length, breadth, weight and number of berries per bunches. Finally we concluded that GA3 along with Urea phosphate and BA influence the yield and quality of grape cv. Thompson Seedless.
