The Present investigation entitled “Studies on the effect of different concentrations of growth regulators on root and shoot on production of Kokum grafts (Garcinia indica choisy)” was carried out at Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Dapoli, Dist. ratnagiri during the year 2015-2016. the experiment was conducted in randomized Block Design (rBD) with ten treatments replicated thrice the treatments were t1: GA3 150 ppm, t2: GA3 200 ppm, t3: GA3 250 ppm, t4: NAA 50 ppm, t5: NAA 100 ppm, t6: NAA 150 ppm, t7: BA 5 ppm, t8: BA 10 ppm, t9: BA 15 ppm and t10: control. From this study, it was observed that treatment showed the best results with respect to root length (cm) t2 (18.69 cm), number of secondary roots number of secondary roots (8.67) was recorded in treatment t9 (BA 15 ppm), root dry weight (8.33 g), absolute growth rate (0.0706 cm/day) were observed in t10 (control) and relative growth rate (cm/day) was maximum in t2 (0.0035 cm/days). Shoot dry weight (13.50 g) was the best recorded in treatment t9 (BA 15 ppm).
