A study carried out on crop management technologies in various hybrids of capsicum under protected condition during the years 2021 and 2022, which envisaged that Indra hybrid of capsicum performed extremely well along with Swarna and Bomby hybrids during both the years. The incidence of fruit borer, die back and anthrac-nose disease was very low in Indra, Swarna, Bomby and Radha hybrids of capsicum during 2021 and 2022 while in farmer's practice their incidence was severe. The maximum yield 1765.45 Kg/120 m2 polyhouse and 1735.25 Kg/120 m2 harvested in Indra during 2021 and 2022. However, in farmer's practice the yield was 1082.96 Kg/120 m2 in 2021 and 1089.31 Kg/120 m2 during 2022. Similarly, the net income was also highest in Indra which was Rs.83687.00/120 m2 in 2021 and Rs. 80995.00/120 m2 in 2022. Consequently, the B:C ratio recorded in Indra was also maximum overall other hybrids and farmer's practice which was 4.76 in 2021 and 4.50 in 2022. It is clear from the investigations that capsicum hybrids namely Indra, Swarna and Bomby showed outstanding performance in respect of yield and economics as compared to Radha hybrid and farmer's practice during both the years. The findings of the studies revealed that Indra, Swarna and Bomby hybrids of capsicum may be grown under protected conditions during March to october in hilly regions of Uttarakhand as an off season vegetable.
