Abstract

The present study was conducted at the Department of Horticulture, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Bundelkhand University, Karguanji, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh during the Rabi season of 2022. The objective was to examine the impact of various combinations of organic manures on the growth, yield, and quality of the beetroot variety Detroit Dark Red. The experiment was laid down in a Randomized Block Design with eight treatments and three replications, involving different combinations in Randomized Design and the application of organic nutrition. In this experiment, eight treatments were implemented: T0 (Control with water spray), T1 (100% Farmyard Manure), T2 (100% Poultry Manure), T3 (100% Neemcake), T4 (50% Farmyard Manure + 50% Poultry Manure), T5 (50% Poultry Manure + 50% Neemcake), T6 (50% Farmyard Manure + 50% Neemcake), and T7 (33% Farmyard Manure + 33% Neemcake + 33% Poultry Manure). Based on the experimental findings, it is concluded that the T5 treatment (50% Poultry Manure + 50% Neemcake) demonstrated the best results in terms of growth, yield, and quality of beetroot.
