Plantlets were regenerated from dihaploid leaf callus in MS medium containing 1000 ppm caseine hydrolysate, 1% sucrose and glucose each, 4% D-mannitol, 0.1 ppm NAA and IAA each, 0.25 ppm 6-BAP, 0.025 ppm zeatin and kinetin each and 0.1 ppm GA3. Method has also been standardised for the multiplication of plantlets by nodal cutting.
