Abstract

The response of potatoes to growth regulator PP 333 was investigated over two seasons in the field. Application of PP 333 decreased leaf area, stem length, and specific leaf area. Proportion of dry matter partitioned to the tuber was increased. The proportion of tubers within each size grade was altered by PP 333. Overall the results indicated that the crop canopy can be manipulated.
