Abstract

Four varieties of potato were assessed for yield and production of bigger sized tubers in paddy-potato crop rotation. Varieties Kufri Lalima and Kufri Bahar were found to be best suited for planting in this rotation giving highest yield as also producing maximum bigger sized tubers. For total yield Kufri Chandramukhi was most stable followed by Kufri Sheetman, Kufri Lalima and Kufri Bahar and for yield of tubers above 50 mm in diameter in the produce variety Kufri Bahar was most stable followed by Kufri Chandramukhi, Kufri Sheetman and Kufri Lalima.
