Application of nitrogen significantly increased plant height, number of leaves and tubers, fresh weight of tubers as compared to potassium and cycocel during rabi (1977–1978 and 1978–1979). Among the cultivars, Kufri Sindhuri recorded higher values for growth attributes than Kufri Chandramukhi.
