Critical concentrations and balanced ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in potato leaf were estimated. Content of N, P and K in potato leaf explained 70 percent variation in the tuber yield. Leaf N alone accounted for maximum variation (60% linear and 63% quadratic). Leaf N and K of 5.37 and 3.62 (%DM) respectively were critical. Leaf P of 0.367 (%DM) was not limiting for maximizing the tuber yield. Balanced ratio of N: P: K in potato leaf was 1: 0.08: 0.79.
