Abstract

Application of Virazole (Ribavirin) and 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid through the culture medium inhibited potato virus X (PVX) concentration in potato callus. Initiation and growth of callus were also affected due to Virazole and 2, 4-D mainly at 10 mg/l and 5 mg/l, respectively.
