Abstract

Tuber yield of TPS families remained statistically similar in all three successive clonal generations. Compared to first clonal generation (C1) the seed tubers of second (C2) and third (C3) generations of hybrid and open pollinated TPS families gave higher percentages of marketable size tubers. The results demonstrate that TPS families evaluated had maintained their potential productivity upto the third clonal generation.
