Forty-five genotypes evaluated for their storability under room temperature during April to August 1987 revealed that genotypes PC-1021, PC-4, PC. 4998, PC-20, Kufri Kuber and Kufri Dewa were superior genotypes with respect to physiological weight loss, rottage percentage by tuber counts, sprouting scores and total weight losses. Overall, the storage losses were higher when relative humidity increased during July & August, one–third of the tubers rotted during these two months.
