In the present investigation, effect of 2 seed sizes (25 and 50g), 2 fertilizer levels (100 and 125% of the recommended dose) and 3 seed rates (17, 24 and 31 q/ha) was studied on growth of potato cv. Kufri Badshah. Leaf and stem weight and LAI increased up to 65 DAP and started declining after 95 days of plaitting. Leaf and stem weight as well as LAI increased significantly with increase in seed rate while fertilizer level and seed size had very little effect on these parameters. Total plant weight increase till harvesting and later in the season major component was tuber. Early in the season large seed size recorded higher total plant weight and was reverse later in the season. Higher fertilizer level imporved CGR while fertilizer level had very little effect. Early in the season large seed size recorded higher CGR but this effect disappeared as the season advanced. Seed rate of 24 q/ha recorded slightly improved NAR. None of the treatments influenced SLA, LAR and LWR.
