In terms of economics, higher fertilizer level in potato-finger millet cropping system and medium level in potato-groundnut system were more beneficial than other fertilizer levels given to potato crop grown on Alfisols of southern dry region in Karnataka. Potato-groundnut cropping system was superior to potato-finger millet system to realise higher economic; benefit. Potato-based cropping systems have been evaluated based on incremental cost-benefit ratio (ICBR) in relation to economics of fertilizer application.
