Thirteen to fifteen fungal sp. representing nine genera were found to be associated with true potato seed (TPS) during 1989–90 and 1990–91, respectively. The most commonly occurring fungi were: Fusarium oxysporum, Curoularta lunata, Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, Cladosporium sp., Alternaria tenuis, Fusarium solani and F. moniliformae.
