Abstract

Percentage of rotted and sprouted tubers was increased with an increased application of nitrogen. Method of nitrogen application also showed signnificant effect on these parameters. Split application of nitrogen, 3/4 as basal dose and 1/4 as top dressing improved the storage life of potato as compared to other methods of nitrogen application.
