Abstract

Endogenous levels of GA arld ABA-like substances in the root and shoot of polato plant (ev. Kufri Chandramukhi) were determined under different levels of mineral nutrition. It was observed that gibberellic acid (GA) like activity of the roots increased with the increase in applied macronutrient. However, abscisic acid (ABA) like activity increased both in the roots and shoots under the same conditions.
