Nine advanced generation promising potato hybrids alongwith Kufri Chandramukhi and Kufri Badshah as control were evaluated for tuber yield at 75 and 90 days harvest during 1990–91 and 1991–92 crop season in Satpura region of Madhya Pradesh. Wide variability was observed among cultures for tuber yield at 90 days. The hybrids MS/79–10, IN 1758 and JI-5857 showed promise over Kufri Chandramukhl at 75 days but JI-5857 was found promising over high yielding check Kufri Badshah at 90 days and hence, can be utilized in potato improvement programme for the region.
