Abstract

Different statistical parameters were worked out for average berry weight, average number of seeds per berry, and 1,000 seed weight in 38 crosses in potato. Average berry weight showed maximum variability followed by average number of seeds per berry and 1,000 seed weight. Average berry weight was positively correlated with number of seeds/berry and 1,000 seed weight.
