Abstract

Six promising potato genotypes were evaluated for two years at four locations of Indian hills for total tuber yield. The analysis of variance indicated significant differences among environments. Based on mean performance over eight environments, SM/88-991, SM/87-185 and SM/87-55 were the high (tuber) yielding genotypes. Moreover, tuber yield of SM/88-991 was significantly higher than Kufri Giriraj at favourable environment of Ootacamund (TN).
