Abstract

Experiments were conducted during rabi seasons of 1999–2000 and 2000–2001 to find out economical/eco-friendly control measures of black scurf and potato stem necrosis diseases (PSND) in potato cv. Kufri Bahar at Kota. Significantly maximum yield (276.50 q/ha) and reduced incidence of black scurf and stem necrosis were obtained when tubers were dipped in 3% boric acid for 30 minutes before planting and crop was given sprays of monocrotophos @ 0.1% at 21 and 35 days after planting.
