Abstract

Evaluation of integrated disease management (IDM) components revealed that sanitation and spray of bioagents did not help reduce late blight incidence significantly. Chemicals and host resistance (Kufri Giriraj) proved effective in managing the disease. Since cv. Kufri Giriraj had shown very high degree of field resistance to late blight, there is no need to further protect it either through bioagents or chemicals.
