Abstract

Bacterium, Bacillus subtilis, was used as a biocontrol agent against the winged and non-winged forms of aphid, Myzus persicae (Sulzer) in main crop of potato variety Kufri Badshah planted in mid-October, either alone or in combination with phorate 10G @ 1.0 kg/ha and oxydemeton-methyl @ 0.03% during 1999–2000 and 2000–2001 at Modipuram (UP). Aphid mortality occurred under certain sets of abiotic conditions.
