Two potato based cropping systems, viz. potato-bajra-groundnut and potato-groundnut-til (sesame) were evaluated under five fertility levels at Deesa during 1997–99. Potato crop was given recommended dose of NPK, while following two crops were given different fertilizer doses. The pooled results showed that potato-groundnut-til gave higher production and net returns over potato-bajra-groundnut sequence. In potato-bajra-groundnut, all the three crops should be fertilized with recommended rates of NPK fertilizers, while in the sequence potato-groundnut-til, potato should be fertilized with 100% NPK and succeeding two crops required half of recommended dose of NPK fertilizers.
