R. Solani Kuhn. was found associated with root-knot nematode on potato. The fungus grown on Czepek's medium produces some toxic substances which inhibit/kill the hatching of eggs. The concentration and duration of the extract are important factors influencing hatching of eggmasses of root-knot nematode.
