Nine red skinned potato genotypes were evaluated in replicated trials for stability of total and marketable tuber yield at 75 and 90 days crop in six different locations of plains. Genotype MS/92-2105 showed increase in marketable yield over K. Lalima (13.10%) and K. Sindhuri (26.02%) at 75 days crop. At 90 days crop, percent increase over K. Lalima and K. Sindhuri was 20.68 % and 35.43 % respectively. Further, MS/92-2105 was found highly stable for marketable tuber (>20g) yield at 75 and 90 days crop on the basis of three stability parameters i.e. genotypic means (249.91 and 328.73 q ha−1), regression coefficients (bi≅1) and deviation from linearity approaching zero (S2di=O). In conclusion, MS/92-2105 may be suitable for all environmental conditions of north central and eastern plains of India.
