Abstract

The performance of fifteen new TPS families received from CIP, Lima Peru revealed that the survival percentage of HPS II/15 was the highest among all, HPS I/67 gave higher number of tubers/m2 and yield than all including control. The results showed that HPS I/13 can still be used for cultivation because of wider adaptability and comparable performance till new promising families are identified.
