Two TPS hybrids were evaluated at the research station and farmers' field in the state of Meghalaya. Study revealed relatively better performance of TPS hybrids on research station than on the farmers' fields for most of the selected parameters. However, hybrid 92-PT-27 outperformed TPS C-3 in terms of yield, resistance to late blight and farmers' preference. The study also revealed that autumn crop yielded higher than the summer crop at both the places.
