Abstract

In Kufri Swarna maximum number of seed sized tubers were produced with 40–50g tubers at an intra-row spacing 10 cm and haulms cutting at 90 DAP. This was closely followed by 30–40 g tubers. In Kufri Jyoti a similar trend was observed but the difference between 20–30, 30–40 and 40–50 g tubers was insignificant. Thus in both the varieties 30–50 and 20–50 g tubers respectively may be used at an intra-row spacing of 10 cm with haulm cutting at 90 DAP for getting maximum number of seed size tubers.
