Abstract

Mustard cake with three levels of N, P and K was evaluated for tuber yield and number of tubers. Treatments with mustard cake gave significantly higher tuber yield than inorganic fertilizer applications. Recommended N, P and K dose could be saved by 25% with the application of mustard cake @ 10 q/ha. There is need to increase the recommended rates of N, P and K by 25 per cent in alluvial soils of Bihar.
