A field experiment was conducted at Patna during 2001–02 and 2002–03 to study the effect of crop duration of potato and nutrients application to wheat in rice-potato-wheat crop sequence on the productivity of these crops. The harvesting of potato at 75 days after planting gave higher yield than 65 days harvest. Wheat sown after potato harvested at 65 days gave higher yield than the sowing of wheat after 75 days crop of potato. Application of recommended doses of nutrients to wheat proved better than the reduced doses of nutrients application. The residual effect of nutrients increased the yield of succeeding rice crop by 3 q/ha.
