From the study on degeneration of newly introduced improved cultivars in plains of West Bengal, it was observed that crop maintained through seed plot technique only exhibited actual yield potentials of the cultivar i.e. Kufri Jawhar, Kufrl Sutlej and Kufri Pukhraj.
