Two hundred thirty nine accessions of Solanum species were evaluated against Ralstonia solanacearum by injuring roots in glass house at Shimla. Three accessions CP 1818, 2024 and 2345 had longest incubation of 69, 73 and 91 days, respectively for wilt expression whereas all the other accessions including control K. Jyoti showed wilt by 37th day. However, in stem inoculation, the above said accessions were found to support good colonization by R. solanacearum where CP 2345 showed high colonization within 24 hrs.
