Abstract

Storage behavior of eight advanced hybrids and three varieties were evaluated during March to June 2000 and 2001 under ambient temperature. Minimum sprouting, rottage, lowest physiological and total weight loss was recorded in hybrid JW-160. It is concluded that hybrid JW-160 possesses beller keeping quality than controls (Kufri Bahar, Kufri Pukhraj and Kufri Sutlej).
