Abstract

Storage of potatoes at 10–12°C with CIPC treatment was generally beneficial to farmers, cold store owners and traders. In a few cases, there was a loss due to fall in potato prices in July–August, when the stored potatoes were sold. The profits were higher when the potatoes were sold to processors and were lower when sold in the market.
