The study analyzed the trend and seasonality in arrival and prices of potato in Meerut wholesale market. The trend for both the arrivals and prices were found positive and increasing. The seasonal indices for arrival and prices of potato in Meerut wholesale market were found to be highly variable. Seasonality components were found to be significant in both the series and fluctuation in arrivals played an important role in causing high fluctuation in price. Thus efforts should be made to reduce the fluctuations in arrivals by orderly marketing efforts.
