Biology of Eriborus trochanteratus Morley was studied under laboratory. Female oviposits in the body cavity of the host larva where parasite larva develops. There were three larval instars, the first being caudate type and second and third hymenopteriform. The mature parasite larva emerges after killing the host and spins a robust cocoon. The total developmental time from egg to adult was 17.5 day.
