Makinguse of the uniformity trial data with potato crop in hills the efficiencies of 24 confounded factorial and Incomplte Block Designs (IBD) are reported in this paper. The efficiencies in confounded factorial deslgns in 8 plot and 4 plot blocks are found betwetlD 8% to 63% and 12% to 74%, respectively. The Use IBD as Simple lattice (2 replications) Balanced lattice (K + 1 replication) without and with recovery of inter block information is not found to improve the efficiency over Randomised Complete Block Design (RCBD). However, the use of triple lattice (3 replications) resulted in gain in effiiciency between 1 to 8% with or without recovery of inter block information.
