Development In Information and communication technology. Particularly in Intranets, the internet, hardware, multimedia software and video conferencing have created a tremendous potential for multisite course and on-demand training to people's work sites. Four major areas for implementing e-learning are knowledge management for corporates, education and training for corporate individuals, performance support and collaborative working. In the verge of Globalisation, the above aspects are discussed briefly.
