This article is written on the basis of survey conducted at the Pune University among the social science faculties. The data analysis indicates that about 81% social science faculties are aware and use the University Grants Commission (UGC)-Infonet scholarly resources. More than 65% faculties are of the opinion that the resources in this database are of good quality, useful and available all the time. About 55% faculties are using the UGC-Infonet either daily or weekly. About 70% faculties are using simple search strategy to get their required information from this database. Other than UGC-Infonet, other resources are also used by the social science faculties in which INFLIBNET-Shodhganga Electronic Thesis and Dissertations ETD is highly used database. From this study, it is concluded that library staff needs to conduct more user awareness and training programmes to social science faculties to improve the usage of these scholarly online resources.
