A library web portal or website is the mirror of an educational institute as well as library. From the last decade, the library professionals have progressed extremely well and attained the general ability in collecting, organising and disseminating information to their users by using internet and other related technologies. The creation and maintenance of a library portal requires programming expertise as well as money and interest. This paper explores the experience gained in installing Joomla 3.6.4 to develop a library portal at Temple city Institute of Technology and Engineering (TITE), Khurda, Odisha and managing the web content by the professional library staff. This paper also describes as a case study towards the development of a dynamic web portal of TITE.
