Abstract

The twenty-first century witnessed enormous advancements in the fields of science and technology; there is hardly any discipline which is not influenced by such modern innovations. Invention of computer and significant advancements in its application particularly during past few decades has given rise to unprecedented changes in all aspects related to the human life. The change was also witnessed in the fields of information technology including aspects such as the way information gathered, stored, organised, accessed, retrieved and delivered to the user. An attempt is made to know the librarians’ attitudes, preferences, aspirations and problems in discharging their duties are recorded during the survey.
