We are in the digital age; it has brought many changes and challenges for library and information science professionals and their centre to perform well. The key feature of digital shift is to make access information more convenient way to library-user community. The digital shift will replace the card catalogue, printed books and periodicals in the library. This study presents how the digital shift will help the library professionals and user community.
