Citations impact of the faculties in Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu

The study analyses the year-wise growth of the publications, Citations and h-index of Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, during 1989–2015. It measured the country-wise research area and journal-wise publications, Citations and h-index during the period. The result found that the largest of 1830 (12.9%) citations used in 90 (5.70%) of the publications in 2006. About 24.22% of the publications distributed out of 35.45% of the papers cited from South Korea. The highest of 2093 (13.94%) citations received by Prof. Sanjeeviraja out of 180 (11.41%) of the Publications during the period. Material Science has 5632 Citations for 488 Publications with the highest h-index was 37.
